High School Student Fairs for University Delegates

1,000+ Students and Parents Expected at IC3 Fair & Symposium Events Per Day

Before and after the IC3 Conference, the IC3 Committees will host optional IC3 Fair & Symposium events in which university delegates can interact with prospective undergraduate students. Each 3-hour event will consist of two programs, run simultaneously: a traditional-style fair and an informational symposium. Hosted at high schools in the Delhi NCR region, these highly productive, optional events are available to university delegates as a separate add-on to their conference registration.
University delegate registration for the IC3 Fair & Symposium events will be available through conference registration, as an optional add-on item.

About the Fair

At the fair, universities will have the opportunity to meet prospective undergraduate students (currently in grades 9-12) and parents from 30+ high schools in the Delhi NCR region. Each participating university will be provided a 4’ to 6’ table and two chairs, with university tables will be segregated by country and then arranged alphabetically. Universities are expected to set up their table 15 minutes before the fair begins.

About the Symposium

The symposium will consist of 20-minute breakout sessions held in different classrooms throughout the host school. Topics will include emerging careers, education systems in various countries, the applications process, and more. 2018 Schedule and Transportation

Transportation will be provided to the host school venues and back, from the IC3 Conference hotel.

Lunch

Packed lunch boxes will be provided for university delegates during transition from the day’s first host school venue to the second.

Shipping Materials

If you plan to ship any materials, we suggest to ship to your hotel. Please work with your hotel directly to confirm the exact shipping address and any specific labeling information. We strongly recommend working with a shipping partner for your international shipping needs, as there are sometimes hang-ups in Indian customs. Brochures and Materials

Brochures and Materials Plan to bring your standard fair materials to set up your table: branded tablecloth, tabletop display (no floor standees), etc. We suggest bringing 125-250 brochures/materials per day. Please also plan to bring enough business cards as per your prior fair experience.

NOTE: Actual use of all materials may vary. Use your own judgment based on previous experience. The suggested number of materials provided here is just a "best estimate" and based on average. If your school typically uses a lot of material, err on the maximum end of the range. If you typically do not use a lot of material, err on the minimum end of the range.

To register for the Fair & Symposium, participants must be university delegates already registered for the 2018 Annual IC3 Conference. If you have already registered, please follow the link below, select your payment method and login with your existing registration information, and select the Fair & Symposium add-on item(s).

Cancellation and Refund Policy

If institutions are unable to attend the fairs after having confirmed their participation through registration, IC3 Committee may refund a portion of their fees upon a written cancellation request as per the following policy:
  • >60 days prior to event date

    Full refund

  • 46 – 60 days prior to event date

    50% refund

  • 31 – 45 days prior to event date

    25% refund

  • 30 days or less to event date

    No refund

Participation Requirements

  • Each participating institution should be accredited, and attendance is subject to approval by IC3 Planning Committee
  • In case the IC3 Planning Committee rejects the application of the institution, any fees paid will be fully refunded
  • Participants will be provided boxed lunch and ground transportation from the conference hotel to the fairs and back
  • Hotel accommodations are not included
  • If a university chooses to send more than one representative (including alumni), an additional fee of $200 per person will be applicable
